Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to the Make Things Right Training website.

Our website has been designed to be accessible for everyone. We’ve worked to ensure the site meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard, making it usable for people with a range of disabilities.

Technical information about this website’s accessibility

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Compliance status

This website is compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.

The website was last tested on 7th May 2025 against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. The test was carried out by All Able Ltd.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • When viewing the video player as a screen reader user, the captions are enabled and read out by the screen reader alongside hearing them from the presenter. This results in an odd double voice where the screen reader and presenter are saying the same thing at the same time. It is not clear why this is occurring, but we aim to fix this issue.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We are committed to maintaining high accessibility standards. We regularly review our website to ensure it continues to meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards and to identify any areas for improvement.
